Contest Directions: 
[ Chinese celebrate their National Day holiday, which started on Sunday
and lasts for seven days (pretty long day, I should say) with trained
birds riding the unicycles and doing other tricks to amuze the crowds.
See clickable photo. ] Chinese are definitely up to some animal cruelty
lately. First they organize the cruel Animal Olympic Games, next they
force their parrots to ride the unicycles. Those of you who had a
parrot know it ain't easy to force it to ride a unicycle. My parrot
had to call PeTA (Parrots for Ethical Treatment of Animals), when I
repeatedly forced him to ride a unicycle. And when he finally learned to ride
it, PeTA showed up at my door and said it was too cruel to force
my parrot to ride a human unicycle. Perhaps it was, but they forget
that I gave him a break not forcing him to play my piano... just a
guitar, and drums. He was a talented parrot.
In this contest you are asked to photoshop birds doing things humans
do.

The holiday started on Sunday with millions of Chinese citizens traveling to the major cities in that country to enjoy cultural attractions of different types. Additionally, many citizens of China travel to go and visit relatives during this holiday period. In celebration of the holiday, a parrot at the zoo in Nanjing in the east China province of Jiansu performed for spectators by riding a tiny unicycle. |
