| | The White House has vowed to catch Osama bin Laden now that they have nabbed Saddam Hussein in Iraq. Some believe that bin Laden is hiding with his top deputy (Ayman al-Zawahiri) in the mountains between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Bin Laden was married five times. First time, he married his cousin in 1975. It is said that one of his wives was the daughter of the Taliban leader Mullah Mohammed Omar. But in an interview to Hamid Mir, Osama bin Laden told that all his wives (three) — are of Arab origin and also said that he is related to Mullah Omar only due to religious duty and mutual respect. Of Osama bin Laden's 17 sons, only two - Hamza and Saad are associated with "Al-Qaeda". The whereabouts of Hamza and Saad are not known. Hаmzа, according to some information, is located on the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan. The fourth son, Omar, is 19 years old and broke ties with his father and refused to fight in the "Taliban" cadres. He is engaged in a metal scrap business in Jeddah; however he has repeatedly tried to address a wide audience with a purpose to project his father — not as a terrorist but as a defender and the statement in relation to him is incorrect. He too, like Osama bin Laden, repeatedly tried to explain that the reasons of conflict are because of the aggressive foreign policy of the USA, according to Omar, terrorist attacks were acts of hopelessness - his father did not find a better way of achieving his objectives. Other children, the majority of whom live in Saudi Arabia, are into legitimate business. According to another source, all the children of Osama bin Laden are Mujahiddins (i.e, people leading a life of fighters for the victory of Islam ideology). It is necessary to note that, according to the same source, one interview (published in one of the Arabic newspapers), of one of his sons, Osama bin Laden termed the information to be false.
One of the Osama bin Laden's sons Omar said that he had not seen his father since 2000 and is not associated in any way with his activities. In 2007, he married a British national, Jane Felix-Browne, who was 24 years older to him, but the marriage survived only five months. In November 2008, Omar came to Madrid seeking political asylum in Spain but the Spanish authorities refused.
Several contradicting statements keep appearing about Osama bin Laden's life, including his family. Contradictions also appeared in an official report "Report № 15" of the US Congress's commission on the investigation of terrorist attacks in USA ("Commission 9 - 11"). In one case, in the report, it is said that Osama bin Laden, being a multimillionaire, spent his fortune on the war in Afghanistan and practically on the next page, there was a contradictory statement that Osama bin Laden, contrary to wide opinion, did not inherit 300 million dollars after the death of his father and the jihad was financed basically by Arab sponsors.
Contrary to popular belief, bin Laden did not finance "al-Qaeda" from his own wealth or incomes from his business. Actually, "al-Qaeda" received money from a network of sponsors, formed over the years. Bin Laden did not inherit 300 million dollars. From 1970 till 1994, he earned about one million dollars a year, though being a considerable sum, is incomparable with the 300 million dollars, sufficient for financing jihad. If a Saudi official and bin Laden's relative is to be believed, Osama was deprived of the family share. Bin Laden had some businesses and assets in Sudan; however the majority of them were small and economically nonviable.
There are also suspicions that part of the unreliable information about Osama bin Laden was spread by the CIA for maligning his authority amongst Muslims (as of today, ideological counteraction is considered to be one of the important measures to combat terrorism associated with Islam).
Also, the CIA plans to publish “sketches from life” of the leader of "al-Qaeda" Osama bin Laden. According to the plan of the CIA directors, Osama and his confidants, sitting on by fire, should be discussing the pleasures of homosexuality and comparative quality of alcoholic drinks of various brands.

Osama's brother - Yeslam bin Laden lives in Switzerland. According to his statement, he has not been to Saudi Arabia since 1987 and did not see his brother. In 1974, Yeslam married Carmen, who by origin is half Iranian and half Swiss. The couple divorced 11 years later. After the September 11 terrorist attacks, Osama bin Laden's former sister -in-law talked about her meeting with Osama bin Laden:" Someone knocked at the door, I instinctively opened it and there was this person. I hardly looked at him and he turned away because my face was not covered and Osama did not want to look at me. I know that Osama was very devout. He was the only one amongst all the brothers who refused to look at me. The daughter of Yeslam and Carmen – Wafah Dufour was born in California and for sometime lived in Saudi Arabia. Later on, she was first taken to Switzerland and then to the USA. After 9/11 terrorist attacks, she took up the maiden name of her mother and posed for a male magazine in 2005.
