New York was abuzz Tuesday over the birth of baby girl Blue Ivy to one of the Big Apple's most glamorous couples, rapper Jay-Z and R&B singer Beyonce.
Curious onlookers and TV satellite vans staked out Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan's posh Upper East Side, waiting for a glimpse of Blue Ivy Carter, born Saturday, and her proud parents.
However the super secret star couple slipped past waiting paparazzi with a motorcade of black SUVs at 1:30 am. Several magazines including "People" are making multi-million dollar offers to the couple to win the exclusive rights of the first publication of Blue Ivy's photo. Ticked with all the buzz and media attention about how Blue Ivy looks like, 50 cent tweeted yesterday "Yal play to much congratulations to JAYZ and Beyonce BABY #BlueIvyCarter IS GEORGOUS" and attached two mockup pictures of a baby with Jay-Z's face superimposed on it. It's a good thing 50 cent has some Photoshop skills!

| | One of Hollywood's beloved star couples - rapper Jay-Z and singer Beyonce have an addition in their family. On January 7, Beyonce gave birth to a baby girl, who was named Blue Ivy. Blue Ivy is the first child in the family. Jay -Z gave his surname, Carter, to the child.
As reported by CNN, the daughter took the parents by surprise since the doctors reckoned that the she would be born in February. However, Beyonce was admitted to New-York's Lennox Hill Hospital on Friday, registering in the name of Ingrid Jackson.
To provide peace to his wife, Jay-Z requested that the hospital authorities take the entire floor. According to some sources, around 1.3 million USD was paid as rent for the entire floor. In turn, the hospital authorities favored the "star" family by allowing close video surveillance cameras.
News about the birth of the baby girl in the family of successful musicians became the main news on the American Internet. Recently born Blue Ivy Carter became the most popular person in social networks. Millions of admirers and other celebrities have forwarded their congratulatory messages to Jay-Z & Beyonce.
Rumors of the pregnancy of Beyonce appeared in the news last summer. For sometime, the would-be-parents maintained silence on the rumors till the singer confirmed the pregnancy directly on stage at the award ceremony of MTV Video Music Awards in the end of August.
