| It’s that time of year... the time when strange and unusual Christmas gifts abound. These strange Christmas gifts can take the form of sweaters with bizarre designs that you’ll never wear or an off-beat board game that will sit in its box untouched for years to come. In any case, for most people there is one item on the Christmas gift list that stands out as being the worst Christmas gift of all time. While naming the worst Christmas gift is not always easy (for fear of offending the giver) most people on the street Wednesday had no problem coming up with examples of the worst Christmas gifts that they had received in the past. For example, one person responding to the question about what is the worst Christmas gift ever received responded “paint brushes.” Others replied a chess board or a Charlie Brown sweater in the sixth grade.
Of course, the reasons vary as to why something or another can be classified as a bad gift for Christmas. Indeed, there are instances when some Christmas gifts actually evolve into entire situations. One person on the street noted that his worst Christmas gift was underwear from a father in law - thong underwear. Of course, there are some people who swear up and down that they’ve never had a bad Christmas gift. Mrs. Claus for example declined to comment. Santa himself finally admitted that he really has never given a person on his alleged Bad List a lump of coal. He says he just doesn’t have the heart. Some people ask whether there is a way of avoiding giving a gift that will be... hated. The response overwhelmingly was to be very certain that you know what the intended recipient likes and enjoys. Don’t buy a gift simply for the sake of buying or simply because something is on sale. On the other hand, some people suggest that any gift is fine as long as it is given with love... unless the Christmas gift is tube socks.
Candles (or set of candles) could be another pleasant Christmas gift. The candle-making industry manufactures a huge quantity of varied candles and candlesticks! But, what prevents us to make an exclusive one out of a typical variant? Decorating candles with spangles, Lurex threads and the candle starts to become unrecognizable. It would be an appropriate to gift a candle, which is completely made by your own hands from wax or unrefined beeswax to the most meticulous fans of manual creativity. Or aromatic candles!
And still, if you want, you can present a Christmas pie in the form of a star or a fur-tree to your loved ones. It is very easy to make it by cutting of the baked cakes according to the template. It would be great if a pie - fur-tree is decorated with real chocolates and fruit jellies. Or, let the Bethlehem star light up on your table: just imagine a table with a festive pie in the form of the Christmas star and stars on the nearby fur-tree or house simply decorated with stars!
