Enter things like enchiladas, curry and even hot peppers. The truth appears to be that weaning infants onto solid foods is more myth than science. In fact, rice cereal may not be the best food for infants. Peanut butter does not necessarily have to wait until a child reaches the age of one. Offering fruits prior to vegetables will not result in a baby having a sweet tooth. And what about strong spices? Bring them on -- spicy foods generally are okay for a baby. |
