Avtomat Kalashnikova
Contest Directions: Mikhail Kalashnikov - the creator of the most famous infantry weapon, the AK-47 (Avtomat Kalashnikova) - died on December 23. He was 94. The first model was created in 1947 (thus the name AK-47) at the dawn of the Cold War, and quickly became the symbol of the era. Infantry around the world loved it because the rifle could still perfectly function after being dragged through mud, water and sand; where other rifles failed. Kalashnikov always said he loved his creation the way a mother loves her child. He was not alone in loving Russian weapons. Russia is second in the world in weapons exports, with only the United States selling more. There are over 120 million Kalashnikovs in circulation in the world.
The rules of this contest are quite simple - use AK-47 in your work one way or another. Some examples are - redesign AK-47, put it in the hands of celebrities and politicians, add it to paintings and advertisements, etc. Many thanks to Geriatric for the contest idea.

        • Such a nice concept and beautiful composition. But the weapon is not an AK-47
        • I am extremely buzzed on pain killers, pay it no mind. Sorry. Just having a minor setback. It is an AK design but in the 101 series Kalashnikov. Sniper version is what they say but sniper and machine gun seem to conflict LOL I posted the wrong pic. wasn't even Russian It was the American answer to the AK-101 or something. You are right, it is not an AK-47
