thanks guys, and yeah funk, this chop turned into an excersise in lighting. The thing that appears to be my nemesis, I am trying to train to be my adversary. thanks for noticing.

Actually, you have a really interesting effect going on with the lighting with multiple hot spots. It's cool. What did you do, subtly light different sections with a soft omni glow. I can't figure it out. Really nice.

I used a cooling filter and onOnes glowing highlights. Then I just played with dodge and burn until it looked the way I wanted. Also used the sponge on this one, both ways. Sponge is important when playing with light because when you lose light you lose color and when you have too much light you also lose color. Reversing the sponge helps bring out that sweet spot in between, the twilight, if you will. But I did all of this in an omni perspective, circling outward from the light sources. I wanted to play with the shadows a little more, but you know how it is.
