| | Arnold Schwarzenegger's election as governor of California coupled with his new status as being a public official does not seem to have curbed the strong desire of his advisors and consultants to protect and guard his image. After a brewery in Oregon introduced what it calls "Governator Ale" in January, the company advertised it as being a "no girly-man beer." The company promised to brew 3,200 cases for California drinkers alone under something called the Pumping Iron label. However, in the end, Schwarzenegger's lawyers demanded that the Portland Brewing Co. stop making beer that used the governor's image for profit. The company did comply and some sort of settlement is now in the works. |
