after finishing high school decided to pursue a career in architecture. Antonella started her studies to obtain an architectural degree from the Catholic University of
Washington D.C. and at the same time found herself increasingly interested in
music and performing on stage. That's where Barba decided
to try her chances with American Idol, season 6. She passed the
auditions and made it to the top 24 contestants to compete for the
American Idol title. Antonella had the incredible experience going on tour
with the Monmouth Conservatory of Music. She says Christina Aguilera is
her singer idol but she also enjoys the singing styles of Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston.
Barba is hopeful about becoming the next American Idol, and

Antonella Barba made their way to the internet.
Judge Simon Cowell said that they have no plans to boot Barba from 'Idol' as long as she sings well. Barba said her music career started months ago. She tried to get an audition for a steamy movie scene and the first question asked was "Can you sing?"
