| A kangaroo named Lulu will enter the record books as the first marsupial to obtain an award for bravery. She will receive the RSPCA's Australian Animal Valour Award. She gets the award for saving the life of a farmer knocked unconscious. The farmer has said he that owed his life to the four-year-old kangaroo. He actually rescued the kangaroo in the first instance from the pouch of her mother when the mother was killed by being run over by a car on the roadway. |
