It is the entire bullet and shell. There is a slight diff. in color under the blue.

, nice bluing job. Glad I looked at the source and realized it was actually stainless. The stars look almost like mother of pearl on the barrel...way cool *Kay, it's easy. Just go to Strum-Ruger, type in 3.57 revolvers and there you go Though I believe this model is discontinued they have a fine line of Redhawks that make big booms. : -->)
