| Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan has been nominated by President George W. Bush to serve another four years as the chief of the U.S. central banking system. This will mark his fifth term and will end in 2008. Greenspan has served as the Fed Chairman for 17 years already, having been appointed to the post by Ronald Reagan in 1987.
