This contest is fueled by the following news:
The United States Government has issued a warning that the Al Qaeda terror network might use clothing and other personal items, including socks, in potential attacks against airliners. The Department of Homeland Security has confirmed it issued the warning on Wednesday, after being tipped off about a pair of suspicious socks. "We had information about potentially somebody using a sock, we don't know what specifically it would be used for, however, it was prudent for us to put that information out to the security professionals," Brian Roehrkasse, a department spokesman, said.
