Al Gore
Contest Directions:  Former Vice President Al Gore was awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize this Friday, jointly with UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The Nobel Committee stated that Al Gore and the UN Panel made a major impact in increasing the awareness of the man-made climate change and laid the base for fighting it. After the controversial loss of the US presidential elections in 2000, Al Gore distanced himself from politics and became an avid environmentalist traveling around the world and promoting the use of green energy and awareness of global warming catastrophe. Gore's movie "An Inconvenient Truth" about man-made climate change won two 2006 Academy Awards. The recent Nobel Prize in peace already stirred the talks about Albert Gore joining the 2008 US presidential race. Even if Albert Gore does not run, he is likely to get a high post in the government in case Hillary Clinton takes the White House.
In the light of today's Nobel Peace Prize, photoshop Al Gore any way you wish. Some examples are: showing Al Gore's inventions previously thought to be made by others (e.g. inventing a wheel), Gore creating or saving the world, showing his future, fighting for world peace, receiving more awards and recognitions, immortalizing Al in paintings and magazine covers, etc.

This contest is fueled by the following news:
Albert Arnold Gore, Jr. (born March 31, 1948, Washington) - served as Vice President of the United States from 1993 to 2001 under President Bill Clinton and shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Career: Senator of Tennessee- Earlier, Albert Arnold Gore Sr., father of Al Gore served as senator from Tennessee. Proposed by Democratic Party along with Clinton during the 1992 elections; Both the candidates were young and Governor of less significant Arkansas state - Mr. Clinton was even more unknown. The then President George Bush Sr. had promised before the elections that the taxes would not be increased, however, after being elected as President, he did not keep his promise. As a result, he lost many votes while seeking the office for the second term. Specific role was played by the "trilateral" election campaign (Refer Ross Perot). As a result, Clinton along with Al Gore managed a win over existing President. Nonpolitical activities: At present (2006), al Gore is President of American television channel Current, has been a member of the board of directors of Apple Corporation & serves unofficially as a Senior Advisor to Google Inc- one of the most famous internet search engines worldwide. Gore stated that he is no more interested in presidency but still yet to decide his political future. In 2001, Gore also made numerous appearances in cartoon "Futurama". Gore starred in the documentary film "An Inconvenient Truth", which won the 2007 Oscar Academy Award for Documentary Feature. On July 7, 2007, Live Earth benefit concerts were held around the world in an effort to raise the awareness about climate change and the event was brainchild of Gore. Work of Al Gore to raise the awareness of people about global warming is laughed-off in the episode "Man Bear Pig" of serial "South Park", where Al Gore hunts a weird creature, invented by them to draw attention of the public. Nobel Peace Prize: On October 12, 2007, Albert Arnold Gore (Jr.) was conferred Nobel Peace Prize "for the efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change and to lay the foundation for the measures that are needed to counteract such change".
