 Rapper Snoop Dogg is suing a car dealership for $2 million, alleging they misappropriate his image and speech pattern in their advertisements. The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court and names Gary Barbera Enterprises as the defendant. The lawsuit alleges trademark infringement because the content of the ads are confusingly similar to the Snoop Dogg trademark. One ad actually is similar to Snoop Dogg's own recent Chrysler television commercial that he made with Lee Iacocca. |
