| Mexico City taxicab drivers have been given a shocking message: terrorist Osma bin Laden says drive nicely or else. A not for profit group is said to be promoting civil minded traffic and driving behavior in the turbulent city by channeling the likes of bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, Mother Teresa and U.S. President George W. Bush. These public figures are being "used" to try and encourage drivers to change their motoring ways. The campaign is coordinated by Muevete por Tu Ciudad -- which translates roughly to "Do Something for Your City." The campaign is designed to improve the behavior of drivers on the streets of Mexico City. Organizers say that various billboards and radio commercials are designed to startle the city's commuters, police and public transit workers into more courteous behavior. |
