| | Andy Warhol, way back in 1985, told the importer of Swedish Vodka Absolut that he used the product for cologne. He said he favored it to anything else, to anything from Chanel for example. He apparently liked the design of the Absolut bottle and wanted to paint it. He did paint what has been described as a dark rendition of the Absolut bottle. There are now about 700 items maintained in an art collection that include the Absolut bottle -- including a Versace dress and a Steven Meisel photograph. |
