Friday the 13th pictures -
Today is Friday the 13th. It is said this day is an unlucky day. I always thought April 15th was the unluckiest day.
In this contest you are asked to photoshop anything connected to bad bad luck, superstitions, and Friday the 13th. Examples could be misfortune shown in paintings, art, photos, magazine covers, etc.
Friday the 13th Superstitions pictures -
Superstitions bring bad luck, so I personally don't believe in them. The bitch of it is - superstitions work either you believe in them or not. Still I am not superstitious except on the days ending with "y", and except on the dates fully divisible by 0.5 . As (bad) luck would have it today is such a day - Friday the 13. The day which I personally learned some of the superstitions work either you believe in them or not:
If a black cat crosses your path, it's bad luck to hit it with a car.
If you break a mirror, toss another one over your shoulder for good luck.
It's bad luck to have initials W.T.F.
If you feel a chill up your spine, and your phone rings twice, it's a telemarketer.
If a bird flies towards you, it's bad luck for your new suit.
It's bad luck to talk about your girlfriends while making love to your wife.
Never pick up a stray $100 bill unless Ben Franklin is facing up.
Lightning can't find you if you hold really still.
It's bad luck not to run for President if your father was President.
In this contest you are asked to photoshop popular superstitions in any way you like, or make up your own superstition and photoshop it. It's a good idea to post describe your superstition in the author's comment field too. You may just photoshop superstitions or use them in specific environment - e.g. advertising a product or company, or using any celebrity / politician.
Evil Friday the 13th pictures -
Today is Friday the 13th - the day associated with bad luck and all things evil. It is estimated that US businesses lose close to $1 billion in revenues on each Friday the 13th, because people are afraid to make significant purchases (real estate, cars, etc.) on black and evil Friday the 13th. Some celebrities (e.g. Olsen twins) were born on Friday the 13th. Does it make them evil or just unlucky?
To observe Friday the 13th at Freaking News, photoshop anything evil, or anything connected to bad luck and superstitions. Some examples are: make evil characters out of any characters (celebrities, animals, puppets, etc.) - show them as witches, vampires, werewolves, evil clowns; photoshop broken mirrors, black cats, etc. We are starting this contest at exactly 13:00. 13th Floor Phobia pictures - Don't Go To The 13th Floor. / love the idea, the lighting and the reflection are great / Very artistic. I love your choice of colors which makes the glowing buttons stand out. I had a flight home on a seat number 13, last week by the way. Made it home safe
Friday the 13th pictures - / This looks artistic and scary. It looks like the house source was in black and white and I think the author has done a wonderful coloring job. / very nice. my head is full of pics with the cat wearing the mask though. / i'm with Newsy but i think the cement between the bricks need to be more desaturated, overall this is one of the best entries, very very nice chop / Thanks for the tip Skorpion. Taking the red tint out of the grout gave it more depth too. / It was my preferred Rainmaker, very real image, jumps of the screen of the monitor, congratulations. Junka
The Knight of Friday the 13th pictures - This guy had no Luck at all, he was knighted on Friday the 13th, the same day the Queen found out the King was cheating on her, she was not in a good mood. / Now talking about the entry... This is n awesome idea, but floor look too cloned, and the body is in a weird position for a perso who was cut his head. Also sword have no blood driping to the floor.
